Seems to me Jo asked a direct question, and you went off with a lot of blather in response. Can you answer Jo's question:
"Isn't it a parental role that assumes that others need to benefit from your authority based on YOUR experiences?"
Jo asked you to answer a question about yourself. You changed to subject and suggested the issue was really her attitude.
"You really cannot have it both ways, Jo. It’s the same rules for all; WC said so.
May we proceed as idea-discussing adults, now?
As to experiences, mine are as valid on this board as yours are; like it or not, Jo."
Uhhh....Seems like you're avoiding the question Jo asked by making an issue out of the fact she spoke up and confronted you with a question about your "authoritarian" behavior.
Ummm, Jo seems like an idea-discussing adult to me, and citing "WC said so" has a just a tinge of a childish ring to it, don't you think?
A few minutes of soul searching before responding, speaking, posting, whatever, never hurt anyone.
I double-dog-dare you to respond to this post in no more than three thoughtful sentences.
