..there are far worse things out there than Pokemon. Take Yugyo cards for example, they have actual demons depicted on them and some very strange illustrations, but are very popular amongst elementary kids. In getting so wrapped up in Pokemon you may actually be missing the greater evil.
And of course this whole debate is taken from a Christian viewpoint. What if you take the debate from a Satanist viewpoint? It would be completely different. It seems that sometimes people forget there are more than just a Christian point of view out there, and limit their whole way of looking at a subject to just one perspective.
For the record, Satanism is not a religion I support.
But my point is, Pokemon is rather harmless, but there are shows and toys of greater concern.
