I think non-Christians CAN be encouraged to post if they're not trying to convert me. I can be polite and open minded as you say, and isn't that what counts? To respect other exmembers? Whether I consider (in the sense of being persuaded or convinced of) views that contradict my faith seems irrelevant. The person can still post. As long as I'm respectful to those expressing those views I can agree, disagree, consider, doubt or accept their views.
