I think that most of the time when people have blown up about hearing a Christian message, they seriously over reacted. But right or wrong, there are reasons why: I think that usually it happened because of the style that it was presented in and a Christian message was probably personally directed at them, and as a non Christian they felt they were being pressured to convert. That's what a lot of ex members are the most allergic to, someone trying to convert them. So 'hives' break out all over, or they have an 'asthma attack' and over reaction and retaliation seems justified.
