I stand on my statement that you have been fortunate staying within the confines of little group that makes you happy and gives you peace. I actually agree with you about those groups who are not nice and call themselves Christians. Of course they aren't but their blind eyes prevent them from seeing that. Then there are degrees of "being nice" as the degree of "being not-nice" takes over.

I wish I had tape the preachings of a baptist church I went to visit once in responding an invitation of a neighbor. I went several times because I was looking for a Church for my family and me to attend. There is no way I misinterpreted because of the many times it was said, because of the attitude of some members, and because of several other signs around the building. These people did not believe in being nice. The pastor preached against it, and the members (most of them) practiced it.

So, there it is. I am sure many who are fortunate to not have witnessed this unfriendlyness may not believe me. I am not out to convince anybody of anything. It is my experience, that's all. I do not little people who belong to little churches and are satisfied with their little horizons and resent when others come and say that there is something else beyond the current horizon they can see together. In my example, those people were mean and I can't understand where they got that but it was obvioulsy their normal inclination to begin with. The re-inforcement they received from their pastor was all the excuse they needed. I told my neighbor that they were developing a cult. He didn't believe me.
