I was raised a Mormon (another cult!lol) and by the time I left home at 17 I really was agnostic.
Then I met the Family and was a pagan for the next 15 years!lol
I was so mad at God for a while, not even so much at Berg or the Family, but rather put all the blame on God for daring to let this happen to me and my love ones.
I started restudying the Bible etc...And when I finally found a church that I felt was in line with my now mopre traditional beliefs in Christianity, I was baptised.
I feel like I wasn't a Christian until then, I felt so washed clean ( being in the Family had to be one of the filthest things in the world for us women, okay the guys too)
It was a wonderful feeling being washed clean from my past.
I felt God's forgivness, but still at times have trouble fogiving myself.
