I rarely attend church, just too stuffy for me, plus the bad memories come back, so I totally understand why you feel the way you do. I rarely read the bible either, same problem. But I like reading what other people write, studying things that bring out what was original intent, the customs and cultures of the day and why things were said and what was really said. It's like a mystery that gets uncovered, piece by piece. That to me is fascinating.
