QII, you're new to the board, in posting?may be not in reading...the silent majority? What I mean is, I welcome you & at times it's a bit hard to keep up with the new developments at the board...so I have to do some more reading...sorry, I didn't want to sound flippant, had little time, was engaged more in other posts & just wanted to throw in some acknowledgement...something truthful...even encouraging, cause it touches you, when others tell you about their journey.

I felt a bit too uplifted in pride, in & after TF, knowing "so much"...when actually I had almost to start from scratch regarding so many spiritual matters...putting them in the right perspective...

I wanted fellowship, but also viewed most churches/groups/congregations with deep seated
criticism...much though justified...which made it harder to find a suitable group/church.

One evangelist once told us listeners, that the congregation is a workshop, not an exhibition or museum and the one where I fellowship with my children is at least very strong on caring for families with kids & Jesus as the foundation...the
sermons are constantly about it, very simple and edifying, plus the songs/praisepart is fantastic.

Some preachers I heard, speak concerned about some
churchtourism or sorts, where people tour from church to church hardly being, feeling at home anywhere, seeking the most perfect one.
I at least wanted some fairly good church in the
vicinity, without having to travel for super many miles & I am glad, I have one...but I realise, the world is big & places & possibilities vary very much...so I wish you the very best in finding what is really good for you.
