I read the above post an hour ago & saw no reason to remove it. I understand what you're trying to say by 'breaking the spirit of the ban' but don't agree. Maybe WC will agree with you, I don't know.
As for the 'spirit of the ban,' the reason for the ban on OT2 posting had nothing to do with his beliefs or his reasoning or his often-intelligent views. It had everything to do with his inability to present those views in a non-aggressive manner. Whether I agree with the content of the above post or not, it seems well-reasoned.
For the record, I mentioned below that it was unfair to say derogatory things about OT2's viewpoints & posters seemed wiling to comply & let the matter rest, until Farmer raised his disagreements with the ban. That once again opened the doors to a discussion about OT2, both pro and con. In my view, this discussion is not helpful since it violates the spirit of the ban, & is unfair to OT2 who cannot directly post & argue back.
Can we discuss something else?
