In my opinion, no. Now, if people begin reposting his personal messages, answers, etc. then yes, those will be deleted. But 'gives greeting to Farmer' is no big deal. I don't feel threatened by that.
Perhaps I should have disagreed with the above poster's use of the word 'ban' in the first place. WC did not say OT2 was banned. If you read his post below, he said:
OT2, we are hereby placing you on a 3 week time-out. Nobody is asking you to change your convictions, just your style. Contribute, not Crusade.
There's a difference between a ban and a timeout. OT2 will be free to post again in 3 weeks I assume. So I'd say save any pro or con statements about his posting style till then. Besides, if his posting style has become as calm & reasoned as the style in that article then it won't even be an issue any more, will it. Three weeks can't be that long to wait.
