OK, she makes sense a lot of times. A lot of times she doesn't.
Achiek and I go back a long way. I rub her the wrong way sometimes. Yes, she condescends in her responses to me. Right now, it doesn't matter to me much. The subject of titles and honorifics is banal to begin with. I think the argument she's making is that a person doesn't need a lot of personal integrity and intellectual honesty to to be an effective moral philosopher. I tend to think Dr. Laura lacks a certain level of integrity and honesty about what's she does for a living. That doesn't make her a bad person. Just a controversial one.
