YOU are interested in ALL THINGS RELIGIOUS? I thought you were an atheist! Does an interest in religion mean you could be a religiously-minded person? Heavens-to-Betsy!
Hope you know I'm pulling your leg a bit with the tone of this post. I love to read the things you bring up to this board because it makes me think about religion a different way.
Dr. Laura, as you have learned, is a rather controversial U.S. radio talk show celebrity. A big part of her entertainment strategy is to get people talking about what she says and how she says it.
Which truly speaks to the issues we've been dealing with on Journeys of late--people getting time-outs for a posting style that's seen by coordinators as too aggressive. Other people defending the right to use a certain tone or tactic in their posts. I sometimes get aggressive and outrageous in the things I say and do. I try to pay attention to what the coordinators and other people, such as yourself, say back to me so I don't step on a bunch of toes just by trying to get certain things out of my system.
