That is the big issue at present, Turkey joining the EU and your assessment is spot on. However, I better stop now because we are waltzing into politics land (HORRORS!). Suffice it to say, once I started into my family history I found out a whole bunch of stuff about history in that part of the world I never had a clue about - quite shocking actually. Anyway, yeah, politics always seems to screw up countries and little peoples lives, eh? Shoot, makes one wish Jesus would come back YESTERDAY!
