Maybe you should start by reading from the beginning and catch up a bit. No, Jews never believed or agreed with slavery. Remember, they were the ones who were enslaved, did you happen to forget that? Instead of reiterating over again the laborious studies posted here, why don't you catch up and then let's try conversing again.
My issue is that I believe the bible and that was why I followed for so long. The bible was used to keep me in TF and I know what they followed was twisted. If I am going to understand the bible, then I need to understand from whence it was written, the cultures, the whys and the wherefores. For example, Onanism was used by Berg and many other evenaglists, BTW, who believe it shows cause not to use birth control. When someone explained to me the teachings of the Torah, the customs of the day, it became clear it was nothing of the sort. That ironed out a huge chink in my emotional well being because I had thought I could not use birth control. In fact, I was so convinced, I was terrified. Now I feel much better. See how it works? It can be quite liberating. As for you, you have taken the bible, torn it up and thrown it in the garbage can. I would even venture to say that you are quite bitter about it and believe it is nearly evil. This is coming across from your writings. Please correct me if I'm wrong. So in your world, it doesn't matter. That's ok. But I need to do this and I don't understand why you are demanding that I stop? I know there are others in the same situation and who are also benefitting from the study.
