That's it? You are the end of all discussion. Everyone follow or else? I know some people who think you can never say "no" to a child. That child turned out to be really spoiled and a handful. The mother finally changed her opinion when she saw the results. You can take this quite far but everyone doesn't have to follow. I think the laws the way they are are fine. I don't advocate spanking, but I am neither going to say it is never appropriate as you are saying.
