Dont you think that because there are so many variables it is even more important to bring in laws against spanking. Whose version of an ok spank do you use. We don't use the word spank by the way. We use the word hit or smack. Its funny how the Family could call what they did to children 'spankings'. More like thrashings. The word belies its innocence sound.
Apart from all the studies which indicate that it is harmful its just damn immoral and unnecessary. It is one of my biggest regrets that I followed the teachings of a lunatic and hit my children. I can never take that back and for that I am truly sorry.
