I don't know what you wrote Oldtimer, but I believe you! I haven't read the thread on the Torah as I stated. I was just writing about my views on Corporal Punishment.
If a person reads a thread and something is triggered by it even if it is not what the point of the subject matter was about then sometimes a new subject is started.
That is what I was responding to.
