Finally, some clear-headedness around here.
And don't you find it strange, like the laws enacted here in Calif, where parents have all these rights such as a school cannot dispense an aspirin without parental approval, a parent is responsible if their 17 year old teen performs a criminal act and often has to pay retribution to the victim. However, a 12 year old can get an abortion without the parents prior knowledge let alone approval. This is big brother run amok. Do you know how these teens get their abortions? They put them on the bus from school, take them to the clinic and once they are done, send them outside to wait for the bus. Parents were never informed. I find that outrageous, incomprehensible, insensitive, cruel and inhuman, yet this same crowd crying about slapping a child's hand as violent are the same crowd that pushes this agenda. Not much respect coming from me in this area.
