OK fine, the gig is up - I am student and I am studying everything I can to try and understand the bible because it was in following the bible that I totally f___d up my life.

Personally, I think in my quest that by studying the Torah, I can get down to the root of the scriptures, the rudimentary beginnings and thereby understand more of what is trying to be passed on. I believe that most ministers and pastors, though they mean well, do a disservice to Christianity by not studying the Torah or how it was given to the Hebrews/Jews. They were the origianl God's children. Maybe this is an old fear from the past about Jews, who knows. I understand that in Lebanon, Arab Christians are not allowed to study the old testament because those awful Jooos are the authors.

Quite frankly, I've thoroughly enjoyed the study so far and wish to continue it.
