A great part of my present journey has been the discovery and enlightenment of how obsurd the things the things we believed, did, and said in relation to what I'm learning now. Going to a Bible College really puts the spot light on the deceptions of the past. One of the things I've studied is faith, life and work intergration. You think back to the term "system job" and the stigma attached to it. I think the real truth can be summed up in a quote from a book I'm reading called Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell. "This why it is impossible for a Christian to have a secular job.If you are following Jesus and you are doing what you do in his name, then it is no longer secular work; it's sacred. You are there; God is there. The difference is our awareness." So it's Sat. morning I'm off from my sacred job, I'm in between my sacred classes, (I start Church Business Administration Mon.), so I'm going on a sacred bike ride today.
