Farmer:

Thanks for your note here.

Yes, the original discussion here was, from my point of view, to join you in refuting Hinduism as an original source for Christianity, or as a further addition to Christianity which "improved" it, by "sneaking in" pantheism/panentheism" and the use of demon-invoking mantras, yantras, tantras, etc. (all black-arts ancient crap, and an abomination to God. Berg's sexuality and demonism was quite similar).

Another thing I was trying to refute was the untrue idea that "there are absolutely no absolutes; andn I'm absolutely sure!"; an absurdity, and unscriptural nonsense. Some opinions are ture, and some qre not; the ones lining up with Scripture ARE TRUE; like it or not.

The Bhagavad Gita's only 300 BC--not ALL Vedic literature is very, very old. And, the TYPE of pantheism taught by various schools of hinduistic thought have not always been the same.

AND, TM's founder was NOT the first to bring Hinduism to the West, not by a long shot. California had a LOT of gurus before him; paving the way. Prabupada brought theh Hare Krishnas here first, in New York.
