LTE...it's a lot about choices...I agree to that.I also can learn from my mistakes/sins and those of others in society.
I think deep joy is totally independent of materialism...it's spiritual...but lots of bodily relief and satisfaction rely on the material...the abundance of it or the lack of it.
Bottomline: I am convinced, that only by the Word of God I can learn to discern, what is truth and what is a lie.
Since man habitually lies...I have to rely on people, who consider it an awful sin to lie....deceive.
Recently I realised at work, that my superiors lied to me and others...that was quite an experience...as reputed that company is worldwide...it makes you shudder.
It just to optimise their results....plain materialists...but what can you do.But it was another eyeopener.
