More on the queen/servant query. It is hard for me to equate the two in the Biblical sense. One could possibly be Queen Esther, but with the close to 30 years experience I have with Karen Zerby I could hardly put them on the same level. A Queen is transliterated in the Greek as basilissa, defined as a female monarch. The most common translation for servant and that which Jesus spoke about when he said “the greatest among you must be the servant of all,” is transliterated as doulos, and defined as bond or bondman. How do the twain meet with Karen Zerby? Please explain!

John Maxwell presents a great picture of servant leadership from the New Testament. Two people carrying a wash pan and a towel. One is Pontius Pilate, the other Jesus Christ.
