I have this book at home by this egyptian academic/clerical man..turned Christian...I haven't read it yet completely in all those years...but one thing jumped on me, that when he said Islamists stay all "nice"..(if only that!!!)..if they are in the minority...but what when they get close to the majority or rather the majority...then they'd have kind of Shariah ruled state or such intentions...sounds quite plausible to me...only Turkey is a bit of hope or has been...plus the rich gulf states...otherwise the
tendency is more for the stricter application of the Koran...less liberties for unbelievers...then the minority...
Bottom line: they want now all the rights and advantages they can get and then...if possible turn the tables...and face
