Farmer, you have a good weekend as well. I do have one question...considering how the COG pledged to be literal and true to the Word, how could they pass over the scriptures of the New Covenant Jesus brought in with His coming? "Judge not, lest you be judged" and the 2 commandments, "Love God and love your neighbor as yourself" Chapter 13 of I Corinthians describes this love as you well know. How could they hurt each other, abuse their children and still claim to follow Jesus?

Yes, Hudson Taylor was born to Methodist parents and later, after a profound anointing of the Holy Spirit, prepared himself to start missionary work in China.

Another good book, "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan - described eloquently by this monologue -
"Does something deep inside your heart long to break free from the status quo? Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn't working harder at a list of do's and don'ts — it's falling in love with God. And once you encounter His love, as Francis describes it, you will never be the same." This book is the topic of my Wednesday night study group now and I am so excited to read it. (Just finished Chapter 2) Christians get so caught up, myself included, into being "good" and forget about His Grace. Salvation is a gift, "not by works" That's how much He loves us!!

Ok, I'll step down from my pulpit now. Don't mean to preach, but I love Him so much I want to shout it to the world.

God Bless You and Keep You Ever Safe in His Arms,
Hannah
