My head pastor, and assistant pastor, have put this into writing:
"--- and I are suggesting (no, they commandeded it, verbally) that you discontinue correcting others in an effort to defend the truth [and they said and literally meant ALL truth] and disocntinue a defensive and/or angry posture when you encounter any perceived immaturity, disrespect, or when situations do not go the way you would like them to, and to do so initially for 90 days to see if it makes a positive difference in your relationships with others [as if there were a hge number i had offended, rather than a couple of neophyte pstors they refuse to correct in my behalf--I cannot be "right" because I am Bipolar-circular argument!] And if so, commit further to not practice such behavior going forward"
