In my young mind at the time, I believed everything about end time stuff. During the initial FF days there was not so much of a focus on it, but I'm thinking it was the late seventies, berg started writing all those nightmare letters and lots of nuclear holocaust crap and stuff like that. Before FFing, there was "we may be the last generation- the last seven years could start at any time" and the percecution skits followed by solemn lecturing or purging sessions. Then there was The Great Escape with nukes scheduled by Jesus at any time, to be raining down all over America, tunnels getting narrower, get out before it is too late..Then Kohoutek, then more nightmare letters. I have to say it did effect me so that I reacted some years after leaving when there was a war in the Gulf. Not feeling that way now. Have you heard anything about how the Fam is interpreting current events? Like, is it spurring any changes?
I don't personally believe in the second coming. I don't dis anyone that does, it just isn't something I can believe any more than I can believe in Chupacabra, Abominable Snowman or Fairy Godmother.
