LTE...you have a point here...I can discuss the Bible with about anyone...however if unbelief is certain, then what is actually the use on your or anyone's side..or to make it clearer, what is your intention?.. to find fault in the other person' s arguments or are you or anyone else not really so certain?

"Judging" by your other posts about the endtime, you find it "fairly laughable" the stance we believers have...

So you find my restraint/hesitation to discuss things "at length" surprising???

You know, I have a ton of books about subjects which interest me (mostly biblical themes)...things I didn't make progress in, reflecting on it on my own...haven't read them all yet...but for reference sake.

I mean to say with that...if someone really searches...he will find. It's a biblical promise.
I didn't get it: you're searching???????????

May I ask, why you joined TFI?????

Before I was exposed to some ascetic "training", some yoga...some esoteric believe forms...Zen-Buddhism etc.etc....none of that compares to what I have found in Jesus...neither has the interest resumed...

What was your journey before TFI like?...and why did you forsake your faith and trust in Jesus???...what for???

Please don't mind my questions here, but I can't understand "your love"/loyality...

It's love which was supposed to have won you to Jesus. What made you "unfaithful"...what or who is more important????

I have lived now for 55 years on this earth and I haven't found anything more fascinating...anything greater than Jesus...

"never mind"...the rubbish/mess the earthly ambassadors made of the message. If something goes wrong in engineering, you have to go through it with a fine, logical/practical comb to find the fault (s) and next time avoiding it...same with false biblical explanations/interpretations or false Christian lifestyle.

Japan is also a lesson, not to blindly trust in what engineers invent or consider safe.

I have seen a documentary on the history of building bridges.Quite scary what all collapsed...either by resonance or by wind etc.

Pride does come before fall...think of the unsinkable ships...there was a German cargo-liner which sunk I think in the seventies or eighties (besides the famous Titanic)...considered unsinkable...but then they didn't really take note of the monster waves yet......kind of an amplitudical build up

And by the way...sometimes we just fall...just being human...but part of us is also pride....so one way or the other...I think we're dealt with...whether we like it or not.
