I don't know Michael Rood, but I do know about The Way International. They've got a big compound in my state. I've run into several Wayers off and one over the years.

Fact is, quite a lot of geologic activity is occurring right now. Planet scientists love this stuff, except for the impact it has on humans.

The size of the human population is one aspect of the problem. There could have been a similar level of geologic activity 10,000 years ago, but back then, there wasn't a huge population of humans in diverse places that could be negatively impacted by earthquakes. Just 200 years ago, the population was 1/6 the size it is today. There are more humans living in coastal areas than ever before--making them vulnerable to all sorts of disasters, like tsunami, hurricanes, rising sea levels. As we crowd out the planetary real estate, people are forced to settle in more and more risky places--along earthquake fault lines, for example.
