Who is "they"--? ...must be my age...I had a trouble finding "they" in CB's post...I consider it for now as some pars pro toto of you...I thought CB was first arguing about people in general and then ventured to look closer into people living in high demand groups...and I agree with her. Those groups deem themselves having some " medicine" against human...cultural...sociological etc. problems and who wouldn' t want to be rid of problems which sooner or later befalls kind of most people...all people...the question of death e.g.....and selfishness can be a very big problem...either groups are on a " work' s - trip" or sole grace and are also graceful to others...that is also loving to me....

mega good question...pretty needy I'd say...my gut reaction is...people got a consciousness plus the Word...Bible and also prayed " the Holy trinity to help them"...so "they" do... may be not the way we liked or imagined...but at some point we also followed the group dynamics instead of what we read in the Bible or letting others manipulate the grasp of the Word..and we payed for it...the lessons...going through some damage and later some patching up...healing
If you were born into TF, I'd say there is much less responsibility.
I agree and actually I can't remember anyone arguing otherwise...Jules "formula" remains...the longer you stay within...the more you're responsible

I'm not sure even the top leadership consciously set out to create an enclosed world of isolated, fearful people.
My argument for years now...Berg thought he was that great prophet and in his grandeur and delusion he didn't realise anymore what a big rotter he was...truth resisted over a long period
But what actually is consciously setting out?...Our consciousness is not yelling all the time.The first time I was begging for money I had a very bad feeling of uneasyness...repulsion.he that doesn't work...with his hands etc....shouldn't eat...of course I pacified myself later with Berg's drivel about it and scriptures like muzzle not the ox or Galatians 6.6...to communicate good things unto them that teach in the Word...I was never really a teacher of the Word...rather an ambassador, we all should be...who believe in Jesus.
Thereby and by other misdeeds...like FFing...adultery...I became a bad example...and the leaders foremost...
Their concept of heaven later resembled more a blueprint of the world and hell.Berg wanted to have it both ways abundant pleasures of the flesh and Spirit and that's where the Spirit left him...at what point??? Don't know his biography that well...I often argued with Philippians 1.18...that nonetheless Christ is preached...but we in TFI gave very often the wrong example...misleading people and that is a shame...
Arthur probably still thinks...what a great way to get to know Jesus...I mean by seduction...fornication...argument of Berg and the leaders...Paul the teacher of the heathen...believers out of the heathen nations...just made a mistake there...as an old bottle...or not having the new wine like TFI...it's not enough..."good that we have a new...better prophet"...urrrrrrrrgh
