I so agree about atheists, many of them, as being very 'spiritual' people. IMO, also the same with other faiths that are not extremist and destructive.
TF seemed so positive when I joined but I was so green. I had no idea what the nature of the beast was and bit by bit, spirit was destroyed. I was very angry for a long time after leaving. But now, it is refreshing for me to be on a journey where I discover for myself, with ability to change perceptions as I choose what fits for me. No more "one size fits all".
