I always like to tell this story about my mom. It happened a few months before she went to be with Jesus. I never went to college when I was young and you may or may not know I was quite wild! On my 55th birthday I graduated from Southeastern University. During the ceremony Mark Rutland, who was president of SEU at that time asked the parents of the graduates to stand. My wife and my sister in law helped her to stand. It was an emotional moment for both of us as her baby boy graduated from college. She was proud of me as she always was! This was Dec. 8, 2007, she went home Feb. 4, 2008. God bless all the moms!
