Conversation in this board (Journeys) can be confusing because they would mostly be about about spiritual things. People may well be talking about the same thing but each person has a different perspective and interpretation. We could all be in agreement or disagreement but as long as there is a two way dialogue it is a win-win situation. Also, spiritual things are not that easy for the natural man or woman, they must be discerned spiritually. And some conversations are difficult.

I am not saying there is no good faith. In my view, we encounter problems communicating with each other because the ghosts and nightmares of our past take over sometimes, and we relive them without realizing it.

We just have to give each other room to deal with their own faith. Meanwhile, as much as I protect my beliefs and faith, and try to examine them, I remain skeptical of what others tell me is the truth. In my book (or My Book), my teacher is the Holy Spirit, even if he wrote 100 books. I am willing to read them and study them, talk about them, and meditate about them but in the end it is the Holy Spirit who does the teaching speaking into my heart. And I do know His voice.
