Farmer:
Thank you very much for the encouragement/prayers. I’m hanging on as God hangs on to me. I can see the wisdom in allowing me to frequently come to the end of myself, and my own pitiful resources—that’ where His strength is perfected; right? Painful; though.

I don’t mind getting tired occasionally in a good cause. I pray to be led in standing up for Jesus Christ, and the reasonable thinking produced from His Word, and careful contemplation. C. S. Lewis said once, “Foolishness, even when it is about God, is still merely foolishness”. Exactly. Non-sequitur bad logic never spontaneously becomes something else simply by wishing it would/could.

I’ll definitely check the other post. Thanks.
Satan’s only got a short time. Although the “last days” began with Christ’s Ascension, and a generation can be anywhere from 40 years to the length of Methuselah’s life (almost a thousand years), we can still, and are commanded to, “discern the signs of the times” since Israel’s restoration in 1948.

So, the Antichrist empire (1 Jn 2:18) to come is being prepared right on cue. Some people believe, currently, that the expected “Mahdi” will be THE AC.

Who knows. The prophecy about Ishmael’s offspring, Genesis 16: 8-13 predicts all sorts of trouble “against every man”. So I am not surprised that jihadists will figure very largely into what will upset Europe, and the rest of the world.

I went back to university at age 46 (in 1996) to complete my Bachelor’s degree, in order to try to get into Physician Assistant’s school. Then, I made friends with several Muslims, in more than one class.

Most were very well-versed about creationism and the necessity of the acknowledgement about entropy/”Delta G” loss of energy/structure in any and every nuclear/physical/chemical reaction, archaeology, etc.

Most were quite bright, and their science, including their views and reasoning regarding intelligent design/creationism were impeccable; although they were spiritually blind to Christ at the time.

Many, many Muslims are still turning to Christ these days, though, especially in the "10’ 40” window”; usually as response to either dreams from God where Jesus appeared to them, and to Christians’ “demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (i.e.: public gifts of the Holy Spirit experienced during a strong sense of God’s presence) when led to teach and preach as His witnesses—Jesus Himself said that He did nothing but what He saw the Father doing.

The very blood of Christ, and the individual testimonies of individual Christians, is truly what overcomes everything Satan is attempting throughout the world, even in apostate Europe.

I am currently overweight and out of shape. I really do need to do more about my own physical health. I am getting started. Clarence Clemons, the “big man” saxophonist from Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, just had a stroke and died. He was only a year older than I am—made me think.

I’m very glad to continue to communicate with you. I appreciate your kindness as a brother in Christ; very much.

I was aware of the red shift stuff, etc., both what the observable data actually are, and what the godless pure-Big Bang/hinduistic “Big Bang/Big Crunch—ad infinitum” “theorists” (weak hypothesizers all, actually) claim.

Both Isaac Newton and Immanuel Kant, both pretty smart, posited that an infinite God could/would have created a literally infinite universe; both made erudite jokes about the absence of a “middle” in such an infinite creation!

The godless hypothesizers’ efforts do remind me of the story of the blind men examining a previously unseen/unimagined elephant for the first time—partial data only; obviously.

Excluding the possibility of true revelational knowledge from God is the ultimate foolishness, here; compounding terribly the problem of dishonest philosophy/science.

God’s “stretching out the heavens” probably left something measurable; consistent with Romans 1:20.
One of my contentions is that god did not merely say, “Let there be SOURCES of light!” Light has both measurable particle AND wave characteristics, including actual photon WEIGHT!

I believe that He created an up-and-running mature & fully functioning universe—why would He not create both the light sources, the stream of real photons/wave packets to the targets of that light He also created; as well as the targets? The original “light source” illuminating the creation, as far as Earth was concerned, was,

I believe, a pre-existent “Christophany”. After all, the sun and moon were created AFTER the plants; one day later! And, god IS big enough to do just that; being infinite! EASY-PEASY!
My faith is intact, as well; although I continue to need an ongoing healing of false impressions of God, obtained from both my cult and post-cult periods of life.

“For now we see through a glass; darkly…”.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus! Amen.

In Him,

OT2
PS—Good to have you, too!
