The changes in the Family or real ...I know and can vouch for it with the 100% up front and personal contact I have with very close members of my biological family who are still members. So much has changed in very positive ways in my relationship and interaction with them since the Family instituted the changes. Their own lives are also radically different, jobs, education and lifestyle. The changes are real and here to stay.

Finally, it's nice that you took so much time to explain your concerns for those of us who find good in yoga and/or other meditative exercises, spiritual practices, etc. I can only speak for myself really, but after all that I've learned from my experiences in the cult and since then, you can believe me that I surely know now what is good for me and what isn't. I disagree that the devil comes as an angel of light through these practices and that myself and other ex-members like me no have “…another jesus, another spirit, and another gospel…’ and that we're in danger of "the very worst tragedy I could imagine for another fellow ex-cult member." I grateful to the Great Creator for the measure of happiness that I enjoy from one day to the next. I'm grateful for the faith and love and support that is given to me when things don't go well. Even terribly difficult and sorrow filled life experiences, a down to earth love and support is there. When one of those toughies came my way in my journey, the love, faith and strength I needed didn't come to me through any specific religious group or practice or belief system. I simply had to do my part and seek out people who could help me. Here's to support groups. That has worked for me.
