You don't get automatically blocked for "being preachy." However, if you ignored the rules and guidelines despite a coordinator's repeated warnings, then you'd eventually be banned from posting. It normally takes a lot to get banned and in such a case, the ban would be activated manually; it won't be an automatic blocking triggered by "something not up to standards" and you would be informed about it very openly. In other words, it wouldn't be a sneaky ban and your posting privileges don't suddenly get removed without any warning. As a regular poster, your posts will normally still go through unhindered, unless they really cross the line, in which case they'll be deleted and an explanation given.
