For some reason, whatever you pasted contained a lot of database-query code and system-access code that if allowed to go through would indeed compromise our system and constitute a hacking attempt. So the warning message was "justified."

Generally speaking, copying something from your browser over to Wordpad or Word can be a bad idea. The text you copy may appear normal, but a lot of excessive formatting code and other scripts and formulae are embedded "behind the scenes." You can thank Bill Gates for that one.

A certain amount of invisible code is always necessary for simple formatting such as line breaks, for example, but Windows together with Word and Wordpad capture far more than that.

The one application that blocks almost all of the troublesome invisible code is Notepad.

Could you try copying your text over to Notepad, and then recopying from Notepad and pasting into the message box and see what happens? Thanks!
