(Christian)

Nayantara was born in Bangalore, Karnataka to Jacobite Christian Malayali parents, Kurian Kodiyattu and Omana Kurian.
The issue soon gained media attention and turned into a controversy, since Prabhu Deva was already married and not divorced yet, with his wife Ramalath, unwilling to agree for a divorce, filing a petition at the family court, seeking directions against her husband and Nayantara from marrying, attending functions together and receiving awards as husband and wife and requesting a reunion with him.[28][29] Furthermore, Ramalath threatened to go on hunger strike, if Prabhu Deva married Nayantara,[29] while several women's organizations also conducted protests against Nayantara for "bringing disrepute to Tamil culture", burning an effigy of her.[29][30]
Beliefs

On August 7, 2011, she converted to Hinduism at the Arya Samaj Temple in Chennai. She went through Shuddhi Karma, a procedure involving a Vedic purification and a Homan where Nayan chanted the hymns from Veda and Gayathri mantra under the guidance of the priest. After the purification ceremony, a Certificate of Conversion to Hinduism was issued to her and her stage name, Nayantara, became her official name.[31]

Nayanthara, born and brought up as Diana Mariam Kurian, was a born Christian. She changed her name because of her foray into films.

That is a "theological problem"...I am not really a believer of second generation Christianity...depending how one also interprets saving the whole house of the believing father/parents as often mentioned in acts.

I guess it's saver put by the wiki article...born to parents of a particular christian faith...a very old one as such...that is one of the marvels of India.

In any case I think she must have considered the sacrifice of Christ very little to nothing and having no "advantage" through it personally...for life on earth is comparatively short.
She must have considered emotions...personal love...even at the expanse of breaking into a marriageas "the gain"...that is where I consider "love"...bad...dangerous...like in TFI breaking into other people's "belongings"...relationship...it's like stealing and as a result bringing shame to a community...

Free decision...but the wrong one

Actors are what people...common people ...often look up to...they have therefore quite a responsibility.I am always amazed how many of the actors and actrices in India have quite a string of degrees of colleges both Indian and foreign...in Germany most go to some actors school right from the start and seldom have other degrees...

Anyway what has been common over ages in the West ...hollywood and Europe...is now increasingly happening also in India...looser life.

If one considers what early Christians suffered, to hold onto the given faith...invested...then it's sad to see, how little the sacrifice/life of
Christ is valued/understood...also in that community

Parallels to TFI and Exers were not predominantly on my mind, rather not ...but I guess just a given fact and a byproduct/thought of my article/post
