You aren't only what you read and eat...

You long time exers wouldn't know...beyond other details...but you are what you eat...was letter and issue in TFI...I do believe in treating the own body (and those of others too...if possible) as as good as possible... to get not into the after enjoyment...suffering-trap etc...a sound mind/spirit in a sound/healthy bodyetc. as the saying goes.

Before TFI I tried to observe different food-rules too and found "no significant improvement"...for my spiritual welfare. After TFI I drank and ate what I liked and felt was good for me...a lot had also to do with "enjoyment".

Recently I saw again a documentary on big poultry-farms in Germany...they are as disgusting as elsewhere in the world I figure...longknown facts....besides I heard ...you need less red meat in older age.

I know a vegetarian...he has a much, much better worked out body than me...doing also one armed push ups...quite something to see that...You are what you eat...Berg coined that after you are what you read...from what I remember.

Well, I am not "sweet anymore"...stopped stuffing myself with it 6 month ago...even though I exercised lots...don't need it anymore...it just stopped...TG.
No law or strict rule though...just plain reasoning.

Anyway...nice debate in TOI between the vegetarians...lots of them there in India...Shahid Kapoor is one and has a super well toned body...quite "convincing"...besides others...

I just keep Romans 14 in mind...since I read it...but I find it "funny" how the religionists use about any platform to debate (like me on journeys ; ) )...or the "religious nonreligionists" ; ) to get their message across

Anyway, strong influences of Christians and Muslims in Kerela...I guess to the dismay of staunch Hindus...but I'd say the food-habits of a lot of western/northern countries aren't the best...but even some of the old habits of India (too much fat-soaked food) are not the best either...lots of overweight people in India

What are your food preferences/rituals/rules/habits?
