Far too many people proclaim a belief in Christ, but they dishonor him in the judgemental, uncharitable way they live. Those people are the ones who offend me by putting an "X" where Christ should be--alive in the world among us. If unbelievers want to put an "X" over the representation of an idea (a word) they disavow and do not honor, I find no scandal in that.
