In all discussions, where possible, kindly stay in context, address the points in the thread and refrain from introducing random references to another participant's previous stated views/lifestyle/etc. in a badgering manner.
As far as you can tell, this is either a newcomer or someone who wants to be handled as one. This is also a sensitive issue and this is overfamiliarity on your part, even if you are well-intentioned and this is not quite "a badgering manner."
I understand you are frustrated and surprised. At the same time, I am surprised that you can't seem to understand the spirit and nature of the rules, and the sensitivity required. At times we feel just the same, that we can't please everyone all the time either.
As far as telling people to move somewhere else, that has to do with specific issues with specific posters. It's all about context.
