David Bompart was well-loved and respected by many, many people in the local church. I did not know him personally, but knew of him through the network of folks doing projects with orphans. There aren't many dry eyes in Cowtown today.
I personally find it hard to accept when bad things happen to good people, but that is how things play out sometimes. There are no guarantees.
