Observer, you have a nice way of addressing the point, which is a degree of diplomacy I would only dream to have and yet never attain.
I just want to say something from the side of a Christian (as I consider myself) who feels that the many shades of beliefs is what has led to the many shady beliefs of many who call themselves Christians. (Sorry, I just had to say that).
In any case, Farmer's self-proclaimed job in these boards was to be a "witness" to the exer community. Whatever his reasons, I suspect that many people are right in thinking that he is a "closet" Family member.
