I can say the person I probably most harmed by being a part of the cult is my son, who had no choice in the matter. We did live independent enough where he went all the way through pubic school. We were not considered good members for our independent life style. I can say it made our exit much easier I believe than most others. People came to live with us at times, but because they were in our house we had some control. I was criticized for many years for having a "system job". I really don't think I did real harm to those in the cult as we were nobodies. What things we did do sharing, ffing etc. were ignorant mistakes because of our perverted view of the Gospel and Jesus Christ. God's word says because they recieve not the love of the truth God will send them strong delusion that they might believe a lie. The people that were probably most hurt were those we presented our perverted Gospel to. If was able to ask these people for forgivness I would, but they are long gone and and what we presented to them I believe had no eternal effect on their lives. I have asked God to forgive me if I have wronged these people and I believe He has. I strive now what I believe to be the truth of the Gospel and the Truth of His Word. It was a great motivation for me to go to Bible College and go into the ministry. I can say I have become what TFI was against. I am "churchy". I do refuse to have the things of my past which is past to keep me from the glorious future God has before me.
