The family was and is famous to taking scripture out of context and using it as a form of control. "The Bible Says" If scripture is taken out of context it can be made to say basically anything you want it to say.
"So, let us look back not as a way to feel sorry for ourselves but as a way to learn and be like the householder who brings new and old treasures." So true, I like to look back at my life experiences both positive and negative as things I learned from and things I can teach from. Many have asked if I regret my past. I tell them absolutely no. It will never change it and I would have never learned the things I learned from it and God willing will help someone else from making the same mistake!
