Hello Pastor.
Real worship, Spirit and Truth. Absolutely. Good song. It’s all about Him.

In my world, music and song can definitely be part of real worship of God, but not necessarily.

Imo, for the most part real worship of God is not necessarily emotionally appealing, it is not necessarily feeling close to God, it is not losing ourselves in musical highs, it is not something coming over us as we close our eyes, carismatic outbirsts, or becoming slain in the spirit. These are all for the most part an outward show.

In other words, worship of God has little to do with feelings and everything to do with facts. Jesus, as he died on the cross, was really and factually feeling God had forsaken him, yet what he did was the ultimate of true worship of the Father, he did of his own accord what he knew was the only solution to the all consuming problem mankind was in. And it was not a theatre play for effect, it was real.

As we also seek to obey what we from God’s Word know He would expect of us, or would want us to do, and therefore little to do with feelings and emotions, we also can travel the same road or similar paths, iow, worship the Father. He set an example for us to follow. (John 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. AKJV)

In TFI and with Berg, in his lawless world and selfish motivations, he also set the example for others to follow…in doing away with God’s law he indeed gave us clear license to our downfall, serious vices and crimes, and without retribution of any kind whatsoever. Thankfully, however, many, or even most, still had sense and conscience not to follow suit.

Therefore Berg was a type, or anti type of Christ, or shall we say Anti Christ. Serious thoughts indeed, yet the logical conclusion.
