I don't own a bible or read one if I can help it. As far as your previous posts referring to Islam, and I don't want to dig thru posts to find examples, that was what I was referring to. I meant no judgement of you personally but was talking about religion vs. spirituality and about religion often bolstering contradictory teachings/political stances to the principles espoused by teachings of prophets or gurus or whatever. An example to me would be the political belief of denying people of healthcare if they can't afford it. Mythological stories about Jesus seem to indicate he was for feeding, sheltering and healing people regardless of their ability to pay.
