I don't know if you know of Samuel Zwemer, known as the Apostle to Islam.
He wrote a number of books, very interesting and very informative books indeed, some of which are now offered available online and free of charge.

Berg also wrote some interesting things on Islam.
Basically Berg merely talked stupidity out of his abysmally deceived and confused heart; he promoted Islam and their Allah as his God, telling us Allah is the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, pretty much denouncing christianity in the process. And current TFI members still stick close to what Berg wrote.
Today in the west, the 'correct' modern and popular view on Islam and Muslims is in many ways similar to what Berg wrote.
No, I am not against Islam or Muslims per se, but I do think the 'correct' views leaves much to be desired.
