Hi. I'm new here, was a member of the CoG from 1970 to 1972, when I/we left during a Christmas push to "go home to visit", purely to give the impression that we really weren't a "cult" that kept people from their relatives. It was just a show, but while we traveled to her parents' home in Pennysylvania, from the colony in Detroit, we ran into some genuine believers who, through example, set us on the right path, seeking guidance directly from the Lord, instead of "the elders". Anyway, just wanted to offer an amusing aside: I'm still haunted by the mandate to use "two sheets" of toilet paper, and especially since things have gone heavily "eco" oriented in recent times, in society as a whole. I use MULTIPLE "sheets" now, and have to flush frequently to avoid clogging the pipes. There, I said it. Please forgive me Lord, for this great offense..
