In the 90's the Family published the World New Digest, a DFO pub. (disciples and friends only) It was a magazine wherein they republished lots of articles from various media around the world. Berg often added his little comments to some of the articles.
Quite often "World Net Daily" articles were featured in it. Personally, IMO, I think there isn't hardly anything that is more far-right and fringe than the World Net Daily. Right now they're about the only ones still pushing the Obama born-in-Kenya conspiracy theory among many other crazy end-time conspiracy stuff. None of us can forget how Berg was really big on end-time conspiracy theories and he was WND fan.
Whether he was a right wing conservative or a leftist progressive I think he was neither. He'd praise Castro while lending support to the Philippine military. He contradicted himself time and time again. He was a demagogue and an opportunist.
